Full Spinal Manipulations - Cervical, Thoracic and Lumbar Regions
This is a detailed demonstration of a full manipulative physiotherapy treatment, which is applied here to every one of the main three spinal components: the cervical (Neck), thoracic (middle back), and lumbar spine (lower back).
At GK Physiotherapy this type of treatment will be offered by a fully qualified Manipulative physiotherapist (MMACP), once such treatment is indicated and always after clearing out every potential contraindication. It'll be performed as locally as possible to a spinal segment as soon as possible and always upon the patient's understanding and consent for this type of treatment method.
Spinal manipulation of this grade also called high velocity and low amplitude (HVLA) aims to improve local mobility reduce pain stiffness, and muscle spasms, and assist with achieving optimal spinal and overall body alignment.
These techniques should be carefully selected for each patient's condition and require specific manual and clinical assessment and skills to avoid risks and achieve maximum benefits from it.
